What is this Introduction about?  Why was Roseto so special?  Any ideas why this occured here?  Why does the author tell this story?  What are some other places or people that are outliers?

The introduction is about the people that live at Roseto. The people were more healthy than the normal. I think this occured here because of the way people live. They talked to their neighbors, they ate together. There was less stress. Someone who is an outlier is Ronaldo. He is a very good soccor player.

I've read the introduction and I really liked the book. I think that discussing the ideas of outliers and explaning the reasons for this outstanding people makes us wonder about opportunities, and also the way we live our lives. It's incredible to think that Rosetto is one outlier for the simple fact that its people took the time to enjoy time with family and friends. This chapter made me step back and analyze my own way of living...
